​Available this winter (2020), David's book, Ignite Response to Your Conducting, will help music educators keep their young musicians continually engaged, watching, following their gestures, marking their music, singing and playing with great posture, and much, much more.

Ignite Response is a learner-centered approach to working with young musicians and their conductors that enables them to reach higher and achieve more.

We believe it to be the only resource for music teachers entirely devoted to step-by-step, easy-to-follow, tried-and-true techniques for taking teachers and young musicians to the next level.

David has researched and developed the IgniteResponse (IR) approach - with its step-by-step rehearsal techniques - over 30 years. IR has been tested in middle and high school ensembles in many and diverse demographic environments throughout the country.
